Established 20 years ago, it was the first of its kind. It caters to thousands of tourists each year. Located in the Old Montreal, the Amphi- bus offers commented tours of Montreal since 1985 and is the proud recipient of the Ulysses Prize in 1990. (Quebec Tourism Prize of Excellence)

It is the brainchild of Mr. Jaques Tourigney, who not only operates it but has also designed the vehicle. Discover Montreal's rich cultural past by driving through the cobblestone streets of old Montreal and then take a cruise through the St Lawrence river and feast your eyes on Mount Royal and the city skyline. Enjoy an exhilarating ride negotiating the various rapids of the river.

The regular tour lasts approximately one hour, although Amphibus also offers extended theme tours including a 'Dinner and Cruise' and 'Fireworks Evening'. In conjunction with the Restaurant Chez Queux, renowned for fine French cuisine, and the Restaurant du Vieux Port, Amphibus's 'Dinner and Cruise' soiree offers visitors an evening tour followed by an extraordinary meal.
