Festin du Gouverneur transports you back to the magical past. It is located within the historic walls of Fort Ste- Helene which overlooks the charming St Lawrence river. It is just a few minutes drive from Montreal. It features prominently on any tourist itinerary.

This is a one of its kind restaurant which not only gratifies your palate but enlightens you on Montréal' rich heritage. This restaurant brings you the charms of Quebec. This bicultural and bilingual restaurant has been operating since 1973.

It specially appeals to children of all age groups. Along with traditional Quebecois food it also brings to life the history of Montreal. Its history is enacted with the help of staff donning period costumes. Music plays a large part in the festivities, with everything from bagpipes to traditional Quebec folk singing.

Your child will learn a lot without realizing what he is being taught. Audience members participate in all the activities, and the entire four- course dinner and show lasts about two hours.
