Rainspa

As the name suggests, this spa tries to rejuvenate you through the healing powers of water. Located within Le Place d' Armes Hotel and suits in old Montreal, this spa rejuvenates both the body and mind.

The highlight of the spa is its hammam which is an ancient Turkish steam bath. It is Montreal's first hammam and can accommodate 20 people. It is an ideal treatment to make your aching muscles relax.

Visitors may safely stay up to 25 minutes to enjoy the full benefit, cleansing and purifying the body from the toxins of everyday life such as pollution, smoking and even the food we eat. Unlike a sauna, which uses dry heat, the hammam is a hydrating experience, with a drinking fountain and several showerheads with cold water to regulate the body's temperature.

The spa offers six private treatment rooms, including a Vichy shower room and a larger space perfect for simultaneous treatments of couples or mothers and daughters. Guests may enjoy essential oils and aromatherapy massages; slimming, toning and detoxifying wraps; Dead Sea salt exfoliations; paraffin treatments; mud of Mont St- Michel back treatments and much more.

Hours: Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
