Divers/Cite

Divers/Cite tries to unite people and forge strong bonds among them through music and art. In its 14 years of existence it presents three summer events all of them a crowd puller which include, The Divers/Cité festival, The Grand Rendezvous Community fair and Montréal's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Pride parade.

The goal of these festivals is to celebrate the richness of diversity in our culture. It showcases high quality outdoor events which have gained in popularity. These events are accessible to all as no admission fee is charged.

For 7 consecutive days Divers/Cité becomes a central attraction for the residents of Montreal and tourists who come specifically to Montreal to attend the events.

The event proudly showcases Modern dance, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Latin, Rock, World, Funk, Ambient, Techno and Electronic concerts, Drag queen performances, an outdoor cinema and a photo exhibition.

Montreal's annual Queer Pride Celebration routinely attracts nearly a million people for five days of parades, wild parties, music and cultural activities celebrating sexual diversity.
